Our Mission
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Our Services & Programs
Blood Services is a blood donor program which collects blood/blood products to meet the local emergency medical needs of more than 110,000 patients annually.
Emergency Services helps victims of fire and other disasters; meets needs during a community-wide crisis such as a tornado or ice storm; provides emergency assistance and communication to members of the military and their families; helps locate person missing in foreign countries due to disaster or war.
International Services brings awareness and needed funds to our International programs, such as the Measles Initiative and Malaria No More to name two.
Health and Safety Services offers First Aid, CPR, water safety, lifeguarding, babysitting, and other life-saving skills training.
Volunteer Services recruits and retains local volunteers to help with the above services.
Youth Services is a program that offers teenagers the opportunity to work in our organization and gain skills.
