Services to Military Families Get to know us before you need us Why the Red Cross serves Armed Forces Deployment Tips Emergency Financial Assistance
The Red Cross serves as a lifeline between Military Service members and their immediate family.
We provide emergency communication in the event of a critical accident, illness, or death in a service member's immediate family.
We are mandated nationally, by Congress, to serve military personnel and their immediate family, but we receive no government funding.
Our chapter sends approximately 400 emergency messages annually to Armed Forces members stationed abroad.
The American Red Cross also provides an international tracing service to families whose loved ones in another country have been separated by war, civil disturbance or disaster.
